Meet the author...Dav Pilky

Dav Pilkey is the author of the popular series books Captain Underpants, Ricky Ricotta and Dog Man. 
He has also written several picture books, as well as other YA titles. 
Today, we're going to visit a website to learn more about Mr. Pilkey and discover the title and release date for the newest book in the Dog Man series. Oh, and there are plenty of other activities for you to do on Planet Pilkey!

Activities (record your answers in your journal):
1. What is the title of the next Dog Man book?
2. What date will it be available?
3. What grade was Dav in when he created the Captain Underpants character?
4. Scroll to the bottom of the website. Look under How 2 Draw. Choose a character and follow the steps to sketch it in your journal.
5. Create your own Cat Kid Comic or play Home Base.
