It's Maker Monday!
What are you making?
Once I cleaned up my sewing room, I have been busy making different projects. Here, I am sewing outside before all the pollen started. I've been coaching my youngest niece as she makes cloth masks. I'll be making them with her (virtually, of course) once I finish my special quilt.
I know my students at Riverside Intermediate love to make things! Each Monday until the end of the school year, I will be posting a different maker activity for you to try.
Sidewalk Chalk Art: Use your sidewalk chalk to draw a pretty picture on the sidewalk or leave a nice message on someone's driveway.
No sidewalk chalk? Grocery stores, Wal-Mart/Target and dollar stores typically sell a bucket for a few dollars. Or, you can DIY using one of these recipes:
Sidewalk chalk paint
PBS Kids sidewalk chalk
Try to complete the activity by Friday and share a quick video about your project to FlipGrid.
I can't wait to see what you're making!
