Library Lessons

Hello again, Block A Enrichment Students

10/11/2015

October 12th - 16th is a transition week and we will need to be FLEXIBLE.  The 4th & 5th grade Hispanic Heritage Performance and Picture Day are both on Thursday, October 15th.

Fourth and fifth grade students may be invited to rehearse with Mr. Burrell and Ms. Whitehead in the cafeteria during their enrichment times M-Th. My hunch is the Media Center will also be transformed into a photography studio on Thursday for Picture Day. This means that library enrichment classes will double up with Mr. Burrell in the Music Suite that day.

If we do meet in the Media Center, here's what we'll be doing this week:

2nd - Map Skills with Tulip
3rd - Scary Story Elements
4th - It's a Mystery to Me!
5th - Looking for Answers - Civil War & Reconstruction

October 19th-23rd is Conference Week featuring shortened schedules for everyone. We will have storytime featuring selections from the Georgia Children's Picture Book Awards List followed by check-out.
