What kinds of things do you like to do at your school library and the public library?  The public library has all sorts of FREE activities for the entire family, plus free homework assistance. You have a limited use library card tied to your lunch number, but your family can get a library card with full borrowing privileges for FREE.  You can check out state park passes, wifi hot spots, video games, specialty shaped cake pans and a whole lot more.

There are some famous ladies who really support libraries that you should know about:
Melinda Gates (wife of Microsoft founder Bill Gates)
Laura Bush (former First Lady and wife of Bush 43 - also a children's librarian back in the day)
Sandra Deal (former First Lady of Georgia - a teacher who loved to read to as many schools as possible in GA while her husband was Governor).
