What is a Mom?

5/6/2019

Since Mother's Day will be celebrated in the USA on Sunday, May 12th, I thought we'd spend some time this week learning about the history behind the holiday and share some ways we can honor our Moms on this important day!  Remember, while your mother may be the one who gave birth to you,  a Mom can be any one of the wonderful women in your life you helped you along your journey - grandma, auntie, teacher, neighbor, mentor, friend...the list goes on.  There is truth to the old adage "It takes a village to raise a child." Be sure to tell these wonderful women how much you appreciate all they do for you!

Read A Loud Selections:
